Flynn Transportation continues to expand, adding new employees for the Charlotte NC Headquarters Location
Flynn Transportation Services, Inc., in Charlotte, NC, is pleased to announce the addition of four Account Executives to their operations department adding even more experience to Flynn’s growing team.
Gary Spencer
Joins Flynn Transportation with over 20 years experience in Transportation & Logistics operations. Prior to joining Flynn Gary was employed at Menlo Worldwide where he managed a major retailer’s operations center that drove vendor consolidation for both LTL and TL shipments. Gary also has worked with a LTL asset based carrier in operations prior to his role at Menlo. Gary is a strong leader with a proven ability to manage and develop both customer and carrier relationships. His background in both operations and LTL consolidation will enhance Flynn’s expanding LTL solutions for our customer base. Gary and his family relocated to Charlotte from Hammond, Indiana.
Leroy Gause
Joins Flynn Transportation with a background in both logistics operations and asset based carriers. Leroy was a senior supply chain planner with LMS Logistics’ where he had the responsibility to develop and manage the carrier base supporting the field distribution teams and plant operations. He also has extensive experience with both LTL and TL operations performing both operations and customer service roles. Leroy’s extensive TL operations background allows Flynn to accelerate the development of our carrier base, complementing the recently created Carrier Relations Department.
Leroy relocated to Charlotte from St. Louis MO.
James McClain
Joins Flynn Transportation from Kellogg Brown and Root. Stationed in Iraq as a Senior Logistics Coordinator, James was responsible for providing support for both Air and Ground Operations of the US Military. A strong background in operations and logistics management, James served with the United States Air Force for over seven years completing his service as an Air Transportation Specialist. Honored with numerous service and performance medals, including two Air Force Commendation Medals for performance, Air Force National Defense Service Medal and the Air Force Outstanding Unit Medal, James experience and service dedication are an excellent fit with Flynn’s service culture.
John Mullis
John joins Flynn Transportation from the private sector where he was the President for an Equipment and Rental Service Business serving the business in North Carolina Area. A diverse background in sales, customer service and operations, John grew the business by more than 50% during his tenure. By expanding the services offered, he successfully attracted new clients and grew his existing base. John is also active in the community serving as both Chairman and Board Member in both the business association and downtown development associations of his community.
